Most of these websites listed are in French. Do not be intimidated if you only speak English! Open the website in one window and Google Translate in another window. Then copy and paste snippets of text, or even the URL, for Google Translate to translate the entire page.
This is a great way to brushen up your French and learn new vocabulary. By doing this, I can now check out easily when using any French online store without Google Translate. We all have to start somewhere. 🙂

Best Online Baby Stores in France List:
Amazon.fr (French) – I tend to make most of my online purchases from Amazon.fr. Delivery is always super quick and I usually find the best deals here. Their baby items are not always the lowest price (my Bumgenius cloth diapers where much cheaper with Timtam Nature), so I always double-check before placing an order. To save extra money on this site, go with vendors that show “Livraison Gratuite” so that your shipping is free.
Babystock.fr (French) – So far, I think this website has the most reasonable prices. I have yet to make a purchase from them, but I definitely will be soon. It mostly sells baby clothes, but there are other baby items as well.
Ebaby.fr(French) – Sells a large assortment of baby items. Be careful when adding an item to your cart that says “Article disponible sur commande – Livraison en 35 jours ouvrĂ©s.” This means that the item will not ship until about 35 working days. Otherwise, most items ship between 5 to 7 days.
Ebay.fr (French) – I used to be a big shopper on EBay when I lived in the USA but not so much while in France. They do not have such a good selection of items from French sellers, so you will usually have to pay a higher shipping fee. I purchased my pram through Ebay as the seller sold it cheaper there than on Amazon.fr – so there are still good deals to be made on this site.
Kidoudou.com (French) – Everything on this site can be embroidered for free. A parent on one message board had a great experience with this company. I am seriously considering purchasing something from here once we figure out what our little girl’s name will be. Delivery is free if you purchase 99 euros worth of items. I just did a test and found a cute newborn bonnet for 9.95 euros – shipping was only 3.95 euros.
Lilinappy.fr (French) – This website is mostly popular for its cloth diapers but also sells a range of items for babies and mothers.I haven’t made a purchase from them, but read positive reviews from French mothers who have. This website occasionally has sales, so check their website periodically for good deals.
Maman-Naturelle.com (French) – I have seen this site pop up on message boards from time to time from mothers who had a good experience on it. The prices on this site are a little high for me, but that is the price for going green.
Phildar.fr (French) – If you are into knitting or crocheting, then you will find affordable yarn here for creating baby items. Click on the “Espace Jeunes Mamans” link on the menu after the search box for a listing of all their yarn that is recommended for babies. So far I have purchased their Phil Douce, Cotton 3 and Lambwool… and I LOVE them all! They offer free shipping if you purchase more than 49 euros worth of items, plus returns are free if you go to a store or a point relais.
Ptitsdessous.com (French and English) – French brand of baby diapers that I have heard good things and may try after my little girl is born. Their prices are the same as Bumgenius, but I cannot say at this time if the quality is worth the price. But they have a nice selection and it would be worth the try.
Timtam-nature.com (French and English) – This website is excellent if you are thinking about cloth diapering your baby or are looking for organic cloths and baby items. I’ve placed two orders with this company and received my items quickly – I think somewhere between 3 to 5 days after placing the order. I will definitely be purchasing from this website again in the future.

France! The site offers a large range of products from some of the leading brands for baby goods in France. And they regulary have promotions and sales that are alot cheaper than buying in a store. I live in an isolated area in Auvergne and delivery is normally within 3 days if products are in stock. The site doesnt stock many toys so we use Toys r us or oxybul eveil et jeux websites.

Hi, we have just moved to France. Our 8 month old has just started crawling and I’d like to get her some floor mats for the entire room. Do you know where I can find some online? Those alphabet puzzle ones would be most ideal. Thanks so much in advance!!!

Hello. I love your site. I am searching for infant (premie) clothing for my triplet grandchildren to be born in June. I wanted one piece sleepware with french words on them. I love the Babystock.fr site and found some adorable items that were exactly what I had in mind. I placed the ordered then found that they do not mail outside France. I live 10 months in Germany (Kaiserslautern area) and 2 months in America. Do you know a way around this or another site that has writing on infant items that mail outside France? Thank you very much!!

I ordered your book last year to “prepare” for our project – and I found out last week that I’m pregnant (in France) ! 🙂 Thanks so much for your book and blog – it has been very helpful so far!

Hi Mommies and mommies to be,
We manufacture baby seats and want to know what the most popular colors are in France when it comes to buying products for your baby to use around the house.
Would you say that you tend more towards neutral colors when buying for your baby or bright colors?
Your feedback will be much appreciated
