Being married to an ex French teacher has its advantages and disadvantages. For one thing, he’s always correcting me. It was greatly appreciated at the beginning, and now it has become annoying. Most of what he tells me I’ve already learned, yet I have forgotten at the moment.
I created a new blog to provide quick French grammar tips. French Grammar Girl is for people, like me, who need reminders and don’t have time to go through an entire grammar book.
I still have some work to do on the look of the blog. If you’ve been a reader of French Mamma for some time, then you know I’m constantly tweaking the design, colors, and layout.
Take a sneak peek and let me know what you think! Do you have any suggestions?

Salut Carrieanne!
Thanks for your blog – it’s always great to read about another American’s adventures in Paris, even though yours are very different from mine, who came here to find what you have: a great Frenchman and beautiful kid(s)!
I think the idea of a Grammar blog is also a wonderful idea for those of us who are struggling through this very difficult language. You asked for suggestions and I have a couple:
1. Why not add some video lessons ?
2. Maybe more images to make the site more visually appealing ?
Otherwise, I can see it being a great place to go on a daily basis to remind myself of those little points that are so easily forgotten!
Merci et bonne journée d’une expatrie de Lyon!
