Pregnant women in France are asked to follow the following medical schedule. This schedule is a guideline for the minimum amount of doctor visits, ultrasounds, and blood tests – more can be prescribed if necessary. For instance, the doctor may prescribe additional ultrasounds or ask to see you more frequently towards the end of your pregnancy.
If your pregnancy is covered by France’s social security, you are required to follow this schedule or else you risk losing your benefits.
