After spending days trying to find the perfect pram, I finally settled on the Kap3 Flash 3 in 1. Even with stores offering high discounts this time of the year, a 3 in 1 pram was averaged about 600 euros. There are so many things I want to buy my little sweetie that I did not want to spend most of my budget on a stroller.
In France, it is much harder to find good deals on baby equipment since they are typically only found in baby specialty stores. No Targets or Walmarts here. I originally found the listing for the Kap3 Flash on Amazon, but then came across the same dealer on Ebay selling it there for less at 285 euros. The seller had 99.3 percent positive ratings from over 4,000 pram sales – so I felt good about this choice.
The pram is made in Poland, but the seller (wheels_4_babies) is in Germany. It was offered in 30 different colors combos with 4 types of wheels. Even though his advertisement stated that it will arrive in 3 weeks, we received it in 2 weeks. Not a bad start. I was very tempted to get it in black and pink, but if my next child (on day) is a boy I do not want to have to go out and get a new pram set. So I ended up getting the black and pearl (creamy light beige).

What I Like About the Kap3 Flash 3 in 1 Pram
It comes with a lot of accessories! The pram, car seat and bassinet all come with a cover to keep the baby warm, which attaches with metal push-in buttons. Living in Normandy, those accessories will very much come in handy! Both the pram and car seat come with mosquito netting and rain guards. I am sure I will be using the rain guards constantly here!
Assembling the pram was a cinch. It came in two boxes, one was the pram with bassinet and the other was the car seat. I first attached the wheels and then unfolded the pram so that it was standing up. It did not come with good instructions for setting it up, but it is easy to figure out.
The handle bar can easily be adjusted to either the front or behind, as well as has adjustable heights. There are also options for the back of the pram – no window, little window, or large mesh panel. Especially when the baby is in the bassinet, the large mesh panel will give her lots of air circulation.
The padding on the straps looks comfortable for the baby, but in about 2 months I will know for sure if she will be comfortable. The quality of the materials seem like they will withstand regular usage. The accessories and panels all attach and detach easily with either metal push buttons or zippers.
What I Dislike About the Kap3 Flash 3 in 1 Pram
The biggest problem I have with this pram is that the wheels do not move, so it takes a little extra effort to turn. The advertisement states that it has a specially designed wheel system for easy turning – I am going to email the seller about this.
It is also a little heavy, so getting it into the car may be an issue. I read a testimonial somewhere that someone had trouble getting it to fit into her car’s trunk unless she removed the wheels. If that is true, then that could get annoying quickly.
On each side of the car seat’s handle is a button so that it can be adjusted into 1 of 4 positions. One side of my handle is hard to press down, so adjusting the handle is a bit of a pain. Maybe over time it will loosen.
Overall Opinion
I really love it and think it is an excellent value, especially for the price paid. It may be a bit bulky and requires both hands to turn, but it looks great and will most likely withstand the test of time. The material looks heavy duty and solid, so I should be able to use it again and again when I have more kids. I wish it came with better instructions – took me quite a while to figure out how to get the car seat to attach to the pram.
But for the price, I do not think I could have gotten a better deal. And now I have lots of left over money to buy more goodies for my little bun in the oven.
I will update this post later after she is born.
